Phoebe achieved a First in her first year of Accounting and Finance at Cardiff University and has since joined Grant Thornton UK on a Financial Services placement. As Wellbeing Officer, she leads initiatives that combine wellbeing with financial education.
Adejare Tade
Head of Global Fund
After a Financial Risk spring internship at NatWest Group, Adejare interned in Mergers and Acquisitions at Latham & Watkins in 2025, and subsequently interned at Deustche Bank. A BA Economics and Philosophy student at Cardiff University, Adejare joined CUIC as a Senior Analyst in 2025 before becoming Head of Global Fund.

Ben placed in the top 0.1% of around 23,000 teams globally in Phase 1 of IMC Trading's Prosperity 4 competition. The Financial Mathematics student at Cardiff University completed a software engineering internship at Clear Decisions in 2026 and joined CUIC as a Quantitative Analyst in 2025.

Nikolay (BSc Financial Mathematics, Cardiff University) has held summer analyst roles in investment banking at Altius Capital and in investment management at Compound Equity Group. He joined the CUIC committee as General Secretary in February 2025.

Mariia has a robust background in Data Science and Economics, enhanced by a placement year at the Greater London Authority, which provides her with extensive experience. In addition to serving as the Founding Secretary at CUIC, she holds the position of President of the Ukrainian Society. Outside of her professional pursuits, Mariia is deeply involved in derivative trading.

Experienced in paraplanning, investment analysis, cryptocurrency, and team leadership, highlighted by his summer intenships at Asset & Investment Management and DNV. Additionally, he holds the positions of President and Captain of the Cardiff University Men's Futsal Club. At present, Easan is currently engaged in event data collection with the with the sports technology firm Hawk-Eye Innovations.
